I just felt like posting this super cute picture of a polar bear named Flocke. Too bad it lives at the zoo...
I just felt like posting this super cute picture of a polar bear named Flocke. Too bad it lives at the zoo...
Though it is a shame it is in a zoo, there are a few things to consider:
1. zoos are responsible for protecting endangered species through breeding and research.
2. polar bears are often found abandoned and a rescue gives it a chance at life
3. polar bear habitat is diminishing since the ice caps are melting…this is a serious problem
There are probably a list of a few more but think of the picture of a reminder of our habitat.
BTW…though cute, polar bears are one animal that actually likes the “taste” of human and will seek them out (food for thought…wink)
