This past weekend, I just saw solar attic fans for sale at Costco. I think they were $300 each, and I can&#039;t imagine it would cost that much to install. Given you live in California, it&#039;s generally hot when it&#039;s sunny (vs. hot and muggy when there&#039;s no sun), which means you should always have power to the fan when it&#039;s warm outside. Even if you decide to get an A/C system, this solar attic fan should help save on the amount of energy you&#039;ll use with your A/C.</description>
