I have to say that I still get some looks when I tell the cashier that I don't need a bag. Maybe that's not done so much in NYC. I have about a dozen cloth bags that I've collected from various tradeshows and conventions and leave them in the trunk of both my cars so I can use them whenever I shop. And grocery stores now incentivize shoppers to bring their own bags. Trader Joe's has a weekly $25 gift card raffle for bringing your own bag, but I've never won before. Oh well...
