Bio wedding cards! Sounds like a good idea. But to me, as well as a lot of other folks, we would like to stick to the traditional ways. I am in the process of planning for my daughter's wedding, and I found this good site that offered me elegant wedding invitations at low prices. Whoever is interested in inexpensive yet elegant wedding invitations, a word of advice. See this <a HREF="http://www.invitationbox.com/wedding.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.invitationbox.com/wedding.html</A>

Hi JB, It is up and running... I apparently just typed the address wrong. Whoops!

Our address is www.ecoenvelopes.com. Right now, we mostly do envelopes for big mailers, but we're coming out with envelopes for regular people soon.

Let me know if you have any questions!

And many congrats on your upcoming marriage!

Hi Katie, thanks for your comment. I'm getting married in the fall - most likely September. The date is still TBD... when is your website going to be up and running? Would love to learn more - thanks!

JB, when will this wedding be? The company I work for, ecoEnvelopes, is coming out with a 2-way envelopes for wedding invitations sometime this year. Our founder's daughter is getting married, and so she's redesigning the ecoEnvelopes in partnership with New Leaf Paper for the invites.

But the plantable stationary sounds pretty cool too. I'll have to take a look into that!

there are any number of people that do the seed papers, they've been around quite a long time. There is a pretty good one in San Diego that really starts from scratch. This type of thing became popular about ten years ago and like handmade papers of every description, seems to have moved to the background. If you plan to print on some of these papers, just be aware, particularly if you are doing letterpress, that you may or may not have a bit of trouble, because the plates will "skip"over the little pieces of flower or what have you in the paper. Just choose what you are most happy with and you will be fine-but get someone who knows printing. There are several ways to conserve on paper-not to mention cost-but you do need many of these items. Another caution is to make sure that you get all your rsvp's back at the appointed time. Often you are sitting at home wondering what in the name of God happened to the rsvp's?? That is because great numbers of guests put them away if sent out too early, planning to send the thing off,and of course it never arrives. Be sure to choose carefully on the date that the reply must be returned to you. Not to worry, everything will work out fine-it always does.
